Phew! Hello everyone! It’s been a while since our last update, and we’re sorry for the radio silence. As a team, we decided to pause smaller updates so we could focus on one big goal: making this the biggest update in Hello Home’s history. So we rolled up our sleeves, greased our elbows and got to work!
Now it’s finally here! This update is packed with brand-new, game-changing features. Some of them have been our most requested since we launched in early access back in April 2025, so it feels amazing to release so many at once!
The update is rolling out gradually, so if you don’t see it yet, hang tight. It’s on its way to you!
What’s New?
This update brings the character creator, the building creator, room shaping, the Hello Home Shop, ceiling items, language settings and polished controls. On top of that, we’ve made heaps of new items!
Character Creator
Try on outfits and hairstyles, and customize the look of your very own characters! We’re starting with the basics for now, but we have lots of ideas for what to add next. Save your characters, place them in your scenes, and play around with their emotions and poses for that perfect photo op.
Building Creator
Flex your inner architect with brand-new mix-and-match facades and roofs for your town. We’ve also added a bunch of exterior decorations so you can make each house even more your own.
Room shaping
You can now squash and stretch any room, at any time, to make it exactly the size you want. So while you’re trying out some new wallpaper, try pulling the handles! You can also slice any wall for more control and some funky shapes. You heard me: rooms in Hello Home are no longer rectangle-only!
Hello Home Shop
We’re adding a nifty shop to Hello Home! There you’ll find optional expansions to purchase, plus free gifts you can claim and add to your inventory. We’ll keep adding more offers and gifts over time.
Language Settings
Hello Home now supports more languages. Check them out in the settings! We’ll keep adding more as development continues.

Looking ahead to 2027
So, are we done now? Of course not! This update is a big milestone, but it’s far from the finish line. We’ll keep developing Hello Home just like before.
